On September 24th, the tranquil luxury of La Berlugane, a private villa nestled in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, became the backdrop for an exclusive event celebrating the launch of Inside the Homes of Artists: For Art’s Sake by Tiqui Atencio Demirdjian. Published by Rizzoli New York, the book offers an intimate journey into the private residences of the world’s most influential contemporary artists, unveiling the unique spaces where creativity thrives. The Monaco launch marked the first step of an international tour, setting the stage for forthcoming events in Paris, London, and New York, where art and elegance will continue to intersect.

Monaco resident and celebrated art collector, Tiqui Atencio Demirdjian, has long established herself as a key figure in the contemporary art world, driven by her deep passion for art and its transformative power. « This book follows my previous volume, For Art’s Sake: Inside the Homes of Art Dealers, which was published in 2020. It continued a voyage of discovery that began with my first publication, Could Have, Would Have, Should Have, which took the reader inside the world of the art collector and came out in 2016. Now the journey reaches its next stage, as this book takes us into the private realm of the most important of all the figures in the art world, the artist. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of being invited into many artists’ homes.
It does not matter how grand or how modest the particular house or apartment might be, each time it is an invitation to have a privileged view inside not only the life of the artist in question, but also the mind, some might even say the soul. One sees how they live day to day, but also their interests, their passions, their sensibilities, and through these insights, one can gain a better understanding of their art. It is always an enriching experience to see inside the homes of artists, even more so to sit down and hear them talk with enthusiasm about where they choose to live ».
