Monsieur Galliano: Enfant Terrible du J0ur

Ever been drunk and regretted something you might have said? Hell, I regret the things I say when I’m sober! That’s not even the point, the point is how little does it take to put a great artist to shame? Turns out, all you need is an idiot with a camera phone.

John Galliano said what he said in that fateful video and it didn’t take long for the author to sell it (how graceful), the publisher to make it viral and the admirers to turn against the idol with Natalie Hershlag (oh sorry, I mean Portman) refusing to have anything to do with Galliano after he put her on the pedestal via Miss Dior Chérie campaign.

Galliano may have to say goodbye to the House of Dior after 14 years of delivering ever dramatic, insanely flamboyant and certainly the most artistic collections in Paris, but something tells me his fashion career is far from over. In fact, I’m sure he will bounce back fiercer and stronger than ever.

“John Galliano is one of my absolute favorite designers to work with… The story is very sad to me because he is not that type of person at all. He is open to everyone…even if you look at his line-up, he has a selection of different types of women from around the world. I wish the best for him” – said the adorable Chanel Iman and we wholeheartedly agree.

Go Team Galliano!
