For over 60 years the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala has been considered the fashion equivalent of the Oscars. Fashion industry experts consider the MET Ball, hosted by Vogue to be the world’s best red carpet as well as the best social event in New York City. This year’s theme was ‘Savage Beauty’ where the guests have turned up to tribute Alexander McQueen.
