Designed by renowned water architect Koen Olthuis, it combines Dutch maritime tradition with French art-de-vivre, smart design and high-quality materials with cutting edge home automation technologies.

Built to withstand the storms and hurricanes that frequently ravage this part of the States, French creators, Nicolas Derouin and Arnaud Duguet, say this new real estate product can be a main residence or a mobile secondary home.

Co-founder Nicolas Derouin says: “Primary residence or “mobile” vacation home, our livable yachts are multi-purpose: promotional or event venue, restaurant, gym, you can even turn it into a spa! Arkup’s livable yachts are primarily designed for the specifics of Florida and Miami waters but are adaptable worldwide to the local context.”

This floating house can move at 12 km/h and has four bedrooms, kitchen, living room, gym, hot tub and a balcony. The upscale buyers can add as many options as you like from its “à la carte” menu to make it even more luxurious residence. To achieve its sustainability objectives, Arkup designs 100% solar powered recreational vessels integrating rainwater harvesting.

This off-grid “blue dwelling” provides comfort and luxury in total independence and allows enjoying breathtaking views of both the sea and the city.
