We can’t deny that we’re now at the age of automobile electrification. Even supercars, exclusively powered by internal combustion engines, have started seeing names that are either hybrid or purely propelled by electric motors.

Designed by Wayne Jung, Mercedes-Benz Red Sun car runs on electromagnetic wheels. The design of this concept car called for the body to be mounted on top three star-shaped ribs.

Each of the ribs, fitted one behind the other at a set distance and connected so that they form the skeleton of the digital creation.

A quick look at the front or rear of the Red Sun reveals a huge, three-pointed star symbol, made so familiar by the German carmaker.
