Brunello Cucinelli Eyewear: The Collection Unveiled in the Gardens of Villa Aurelia at an Exclusive Event
Brunello Cucinelli revealed its new eyewear collection at an exclusive fashion show set in the enchanting gardens of Villa Aurelia. The magical atmosphere was enhanced by the sunset, creating a dreamlike ambiance that only the Eternal City can provide. This presentation reflected Brunello Cucinelli’s commitment to promoting the culture of beauty and the intersection of taste and exquisite Italian craftsmanship.
This collection is the result of a decade-long licensing agreement between Brunello Cucinelli and EssilorLuxottica. The launch of the first “Brunello Cucinelli Eyewear” collection showcases the strong working and creative synergy between the two companies, as well as the mutual respect and camaraderie shared by the worlds of Brunello Cucinelli and Leonardo Del Vecchio.
This amicable and gentle friendship has fostered a significant and meticulous research and development effort, conducted in perfect harmony. The collection will soon be available worldwide in the main boutiques of the Solomeo brand and in prominent multi-brand stores dedicated to eyewear.
An Exclusive Event with 100 Guests, Dinner, and After-Party
The eyewear collection launch was celebrated with a grand event attended by top talents and editors from around the world. The exclusive show, accompanied by a cocktail reception, was held in the garden of Villa Aurelia. Following a seated dinner in the Sala Aurelia (catered by Vittorio), guests were invited to an after-party on the magnificent terrace. The event featured live music and performances by The Beau Ties, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of a never-sleeping Rome.
The event drew celebrities and talents from the Brunello Cucinelli family, including Emma Brooks, Leonie Hanne, Kyra Kennedy, Tamu McPherson, and Valentina Bellè, along with Editors in Chief from major Italian and international publications.
The Five New Brunello Cucinelli Eyewear Collections
Brunello Cucinelli introduced five distinct eyewear collections, each with its own unique concept and design. The “Sartorial Sunset” collection combines luxurious materials like metal and acetate with elements of great refinement. “Timeless Reflection” draws inspiration from high jewelry collections, celebrating elegance and craftsmanship.
The “Iconic Meridian” collection features entirely customized elements inspired by the coat of arms of the medieval village where Brunello Cucinelli is rooted, including embedded hinges and metallic elements with crystal lenses. The “Intarsia Rays” collection showcases the distinctive motif inspired by the Solomeo coat of arms on both titanium and acetate models.
The “Aurora Ancestry” collection includes a single model with a feminine allure, representing discreet yet distinctive elegance. This collection features wide frames made of sculpted acetate and arms adorned with double faceted metal points, paying homage to the iconic Monile of Brunello Cucinelli’s collections.
