Aston Martin Debuts Luxury Tokyo Residence
Aston Martin, known around the world for its iconic luxury sports cars, has just completed its first ultra-luxury residence in Asia: N°001 Minami Aoyama, located in one of Tokyo’s most fashionable neighborhoods, Omotesandō. Created in partnership with Japan’s premier luxury real estate firm VIBROA Inc., the four-storey townhouse is part of Aston Martin’s growing portfolio of bespoke living spaces, following high-profile projects in Miami and the UAE.
Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin said: “For Aston Martin, design is something that goes beyond automotive inspiration. I see fashion, architectural and even culinary references being considered by our team when developing their work, from the dramatic sail-like silhouette of Aston Martin Residences in Miami, to the ultra-luxury interiors in Ras Al Khaimah, through to the striking architectural form of N°001 Minami Aoyama you can see the importance of proportion, visual drama, material innovation and craft.”
This new Tokyo home is more than a residence, it’s a work of art that mirrors the design values seen in Aston Martin cars: precision, craftsmanship, and timeless style. Designed by Aston Martin’s team, the house blends cutting-edge architecture with elements of Japanese culture and modern luxury. It offers over 724 square meters of living space, including three bedrooms, a private spa, and entertainment areas spread across four levels.
One of the home’s most dramatic features is its street-facing façade. A series of sleek, vertical metal louvers change appearance with the movement of sunlight, offering both privacy and visual impact. Inside, the use of rippled mirrored ceilings, sculptural staircases, and carefully selected natural materials create a calming, almost meditative environment, designed to be a retreat from the bustling city just outside.
Every detail in the home is crafted to create a high-end lifestyle experience. The basement includes a gym, wine cellar, golf simulator, and private spa facilities with a traditional Hinoki wood sauna and outdoor Onsen. A custom-designed staircase, shaped like a piece of origami, connects the levels, while an expansive rooftop terrace offers sunset views of Tokyo Tower, along with a green roof and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.
Car lovers will especially admire the automotive gallery built into the ground floor. This unique space allows two cars to be displayed like art pieces, with adjustable lighting and a viewing window from the lounge. As Reichman explains, Aston Martin’s design inspirations come from more than just the automotive world, they’re also influenced by architecture, fashion, and even culinary arts, all of which shaped the design of this residence.
Toshiyuki Yoshida, Chief Executive Officer of VIBROA said: “VIBROA is delighted to be working with such an iconic ultra-luxury brand as Aston Martin. Their renowned design philosophy and expertise brings a unique dimension not just to this home, but the wider world of real estate in Japan.”
N°001 Minami Aoyama is more than a luxury home, it’s a symbol of Aston Martin’s expanding footprint in Asia. With the recent opening of its Ginza showroom in Tokyo, the brand is reinforcing its commitment to delivering world-class experiences beyond the road. As Japan embraces a new era of lifestyle-led luxury living, Aston Martin is poised to help shape it, one extraordinary home at a time.
