Oceanographic Museum hosts a Sustainability W0rkshop by Offroad Club Monaco

On March 11, 2026, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco — one of the Principality’s most iconic landmarks — became the stage for an exceptional international gathering, where heritage, influence and forward-thinking vision came together at the highest level. At the origin of this ambitious project is Massimiliano Mordenti, entrepreneur and founder of the Offroad Club Monaco, whose vision goes beyond sport to embrace culture, sustainability and human connection. Through this initiative, he promotes a new approach — one that encourages dialogue between disciplines, fosters meaningful encounters and places Monaco at the center of an international conversation about the future. His philosophy, embodied in the concept “The Wake of Monaco” reflects a powerful idea: Monaco is not only a destination, but a starting point — a place from which new ideas, projects and collaborations can emerge and radiate globally.

Monaco: where heritage shapes the future

The workshop explored the connections between Mediterranean heritage, environmental challenges and modern innovation — themes deeply rooted in Monaco’s history. From its origins as a maritime stronghold to its role today as a global hub for culture, sustainability and high-level events, Monaco continues to position itself as a place where ideas are exchanged and future visions are shaped. Here, heritage is not frozen in time — it evolves, inspires and drives new perspective.

The Oceanographic Museum: Monaco’s timeless symbol

Perched above the Mediterranean, the Oceanographic Museum stands as one of Monaco’s most powerful symbols. Founded by Prince Albert I and shaped by decades of scientific exploration, it embodies the Principality’s long-standing commitment to knowledge, discovery and environmental preservation. Hosting this event within its walls reinforced the message at the heart of the workshop: the importance of dialogue between science, culture and society. It is a place where history meets vision — and where ideas take shape.

More than a conference, it was a statement. A statement about Monaco’s influence. A statement about the power of heritage. And above all, a statement about the importance of creating meaningful connections in a rapidly evolving world.
