Forget the swirl graphic prints, new Pucci has arrived! Pucci designer Peter Dundas surprised the audience during the Milan catwalk presenting Fall 2010 collection. Dundas described his muse as “Desirable, dangerous and sumptuous” and it certainly was the vibe of the collection.

The collection featured deep multi-dimensional prints, ostrich feathers, sequins, see-through lace, super short mini skirts and crocodile jackets. Deep purple & green, royal blue, black and gold dominated the colour palette. The multi-dimensional prints inspired by Art Nouveau created a sophisticated and artistic look and the pattern sequin mini dresses were a fresh highlight. However the overly use of feathers did no favours to the collection especially in a combination with see-through lace.
Is the new Pucci look highly innovative? I don’t think so. But it is certainly all about youth, sex and bohemia.
