Mattel commissioned a photo shoot with Sydney-based fashion photographer Richard Freeman and Creative Director Tony Assness, where Sydney Opera House Barbie comes to life on a human scale with model Eliza Humble in the signature gown recreated for the occasion by one of Australia’s most respected designers, Alex Perry.

“I am thrilled to be collaborating with Mattel on this project. It is such a momentous venture and combines two classic and enduring icons – Barbie and the Sydney Opera House.” – said the designer.
