Twenty-first century hip-hoppers the Black Eyed Peas bring the “booms” and the “pows” to LAX at Luxor as they host the evening for A-list partygoers, and it promises to be a good, good night. Keeping in the rap realm, 50 Cent unleashes his muscles and rhymes inside Pure at Caesars Palace, where patrons are in store for a special performance. A couple of blocks down the road, the eccentric Shwayze uncorks his particular brand of hip-hop at Christian Audigier inside Treasure Island as he hosts the night and jumps onstage to spit a couple of his new tunes.
Palms fills its four walls with enough star power to make anyone revel in ecstasy. One of the world’s most renowned DJs, Paul Oakenfold, spins his musical genius under the roof at Rain, while on top, DJ Z-Trip mixes musical genres on the turntables at Moon. Up at Ghostbar, break out your Rubix cubes and fanny packs as ’80s music cover band Flashback Heart Attack hosts the night with a unique performance. If bunnies and opulent ambience is your thing, head to Playboy Club as rockers Maroon 5 host the festivities for the night.
Bright lights, big CityCenter welcomes two equally big names into the majestically sprawling new complex. Electronic music maestro Tiësto spins at the brand-spanking new behemoth of a club, Haze at Aria. And the only thing you’ll be desperate for this Dec. 31 is to get into Eva Longoria Parker’s new club Eve at Crystals where she will host an intimate night of excess. Other ladies holding it down are Christina Aguilera at Tao at The Venetian, where the night is bound to just keep gettin’ better, and party girl-turned-übermama Nicole Richie hosts Lavo at The Palazzo. Across the street, guyliner is welcome as one of the hottest boys to sport it, Pete Wentz, hosts the evening in Jet at The Mirage. For you upscale socialites, no place will welcome your evening’s investment more than The Bank at Bellagio as smooth R&B vocalist Robin Thicke hosts.
So now that we’re truly in the city that never sleeps, it’s time to count down to the new year and party out butts off. Happy New Year!
